RS 0579 was for sale in Wuppertal since (at least) 2018, just pity they did not bother to mount the front indicator lenses specific for Italian delivery cars.

Dealer Description:
1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring coupe, S/N 9113600235, Grand Prix White with blue Carrera lettering and Fuchs alloy wheels, black leatherette/cloth sport seats, fuel injected 2.7 litre flat 6 cylinder air cooled engine making 210hp, 5 speed manual gearbox, fully marque specialist restored a number of years ago, offered out of our longtime client’s multi-marque blue chip collection, the Carrera moniker a nod to the 550 Spyder’s numerous successes in the grueling Carrera Panamericana Mexican road race, our Carrera RS 2.7 #235 is from the first 500 built, a first series RS 2.7 M472 Touring with lightweight steel, tuned suspension, wide wheel arches, progressive sized tires, de-contented interior, and the signature ducktail spoiler.
in 2019, our RS #235 had the pleasure of being inspected in detail by legendary Porsche works driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Jurgen Barth. Jurgen not only was a Porsche factory race driver, he was also involved in the homologation of the the 2.7 RS, and is considered a marque expert. Jurgen reports that RS #235 was delivered new in Signal Yellow, via the Munich Porsche dealer, Mahag, to one Dr. Georg Konradsheim, who is noted for his 2.7 RS expertise and authoritative book. the second owner, was a Mr. Horst Derkum, who ran his own Porsche race team, and the third owner, Danish Porsche specialist, Mr. Esben Kraen, embarked on a multi-year restoration and would go onto own RS #235 for decades, until selling to his friend, Mr. Christian Frismodt, who would keep the RS for just a few years, until selling into the Munich collection where we offer you the RS from today. Jurgen reports that early in the life of RS #235, the original engine suffered damage, and the factory supplied a new and correct replacement type 911/83 2.7 engine which is fitted in RS #235 today. Jurgen’s report goes on to say that our RS #235 “is in very good condition and corresponds in every detail to the original factory condition.” And while our driving abilities pale to that of Jurgen’s, we are happy to to report that the driving of our RS is fantastic – gearbox, power, cornering, and braking, all spot on.

First series RS sport from calendar 1972. Some details pertain to the SD C06 country market and equipment specification eg the extra vin stamping, dual round door mirrors presumably the M-option with convex glass, the stickers on the controls typically seen on USA not rest of works spec. Other details are not typically original to such an early RS since weren’t available that early in the lifecycle so presumably such things later additions after it left factory eg the side Carrera decals on a non GPW RS and the 7/8 Fuchs.

Be interesting to read the auctioneers example once added and to see what it does at auction since they got good price for this Sport also a first series lhd example albeit from calendar 73 in auction last year

I am intrigued by the comment “corresponds in every detail to the original factory condition” when many things in the photos seem to deviate from the original factory specification when this RS was new? I do understand the difference between “condition” and “specification” just interesting choice of words.
