    Porschetec - Alberto Castro

    Hi everyone,

On March 14th, 2025 I have bought (paid) a pair of cam carriers for my engine rebuild from user Porschetec who has set up several ads on this website. He contacted me directly with PM.

He has failed so far to provide a tracking number and to confirm that the parts have been shipped, although I have asked him 3 times.

Have you dealt with him? What is your feedback? It is now more than 1 month ago from the payment and I am starting to have suspicious feelings.

    Thanks for your feeback,

    Phil

I have bought from him several times over the last years, never got a tracking number but parts were always delivered.

Also bought multiple items, they always arrived!
Maybe it takes a bit longer to ship sometimes, but it worked out.

I recently purchased carb linkage from him. Despite being told multiple times that he would send a tracking number, I have yet to receive a tracking number, nor the parts. It has been over a month now as well. Frankly, I would have forgotten about the parts I bought and paid for if I hadn't seen this post.

I also paid for an item from him on March 14, didn't hear anything back until March 24, it arrived last Thursday. No surprises though on the item, exactly as listed.

I have bought from him a couple times. Don't think he is a rip off, but for some unknown reason it takes him WEEKS to get something shipped. Don't understand.

Yes, having the same issue with Porschetec. Purchased a Weber linkage bracket after he had responded to my WTB ad. Contacted me via PM, I paid and haven’t received anything. Made contact several times and said they will refund, still haven’t seen anything. Purchase was made in Nov24
