Early S brake pads how long do they last

I just bought a 69 S that appears to have the original brake pads on it. I am trying to figure out if it possible that the indicated mileage of 33,500 miles could be original. How long do these original pads last under oridinary driving conditions, could a set of factory pads go 130,000 miles.
    Thanks,
    Phil

You can't say you bought a low mile '69S and not post pics. C'mon!

BTW, does it have an intact MFI? I need reference pics badly and would greatly appreciate any pics you could lend of the engine bay and MFI electrics.

For what it's worth I have had many cars pads last 130K miles.

You'd probably get a better idea by looking at the wear on the pad on the brake pedal. At 33K, it should look like new.

How do you know the pads are original?

Or better yet, look at the brake pedal bushings. A brake pedal pad is about the easiest thing that you can replace on an early 911 ( well maybe after the windshield wiper blades)!

There are probably any number of indicators that could identify a 33K from a 133K mile car. If the brake pedal bushings were that easy to access, I'd agree with you. However, it's usually a pain in the arse to remove the roll pin. A quick look under the chassis should reveal a 100K mile difference.

I think it is unlikely that the 33K is original, wishful thinking mostly, the car is very clean underneath but it has not been driven regularly since 1978. There is a date stamp on pads that is same as manufacture date of car. Keith I will be happy to post detailed pics of MFI and wiring.
    Thanks,

Once upon a time, my dailydriver was a 1985 Mercedes 190E with a five speed. I got over 100,000 miles on the front brakes, so it's not impossible.

On the other hand, it's hard to believe a 911S spent its life coasting towards the apex instead of braking hard.
