    944 rotors for my 67S?

I have heard that the 944 rotors are the 'accepted alternative' to the very expensive 67S vented rear rotors. Can anyone enlighten me on this topic or send me in the right direction?

    John,

If you search the forums on "rear rotors", it will reveal this earlier thread which has links to the other relevant threads, including the "Ultimate SWB brake" thread on PP started by John Cramer.

    John,

I have a similar situation with my '68L resto. NOS vented L/S rear rotor is still available from Germany.....for $400......each!

    J. Plavan hooked me up with his guy to turn the rotors slightly to fit since my guy didn't feel comfortable doing it. 944 rotors were about $45/ea.

    Seems like a decent alternative.
