    Friday TRE Drive to SLO

    Leaving 8:00 am sharp from our shop 15854 Strathern St Van Nuys, 91406. Lunch stop in Taft around 11:ish
    Expected arrival at hotel is 3:ish

    Video of Hwy 229. I think Dave said this stretch is 6.5-7 miles. You just don't get the sensation of speed and elevation change on video. The road is an amusement park ride.

    whereabouts is that stretch?

    Are you guys going to hit Prefumo Canyon Road? It is about 10minutes from the hotel.

    North of 58, east of 101. I've also got an 18 minute vid of Hwy 58 west of Taft with 3 unknown cars that closely resemble mine, Rob's and Dave's and includes flat out straights, twisties, hi-speed sweepers, etc. I'll try to post it when I get home.
