Kind of.
I had exactly this combination on my white 911 over the previous three years - ST front RS rear. Although they may appear to be about the same width from above, the RS flares are slightly narrower. The front ST flares also offer about 3/4 inch more clearance for the same size wheel/tire as my rear RS flares did, and my rear flares were massaged for more room.
I finally went to ST front and rear flares and now the rears are slightly wider overall than the front and the spacing from hub to outer body line is approximately equal.

Thanks, I just thought the "equal" flare look was an interesting one, more my style. If they look close enough, I might just try them someday since I have all fiberglass panels, it would not be a big deal to swap.
Do you have any photos of your car in that setup?

A little extra clearance up front would be alright since I get a little rubbing on the front lip of the bumper/fender interface on hard, tight turns with lots of lock and G's. I filed the glass a bit but wider flares/bumper would do more to help.
As long as it would appear the same width to the eye.

I dunno...to me it looks a little odd. To me the ST 9" front flare appears bigger than the RS (8"?) rear flare.
Originally I was going to build my car this way until I saw the setup in person. Then I decided to go with 11" rear flares.
I do LOVE the look of ST front flares with proper ST rear flares. Or 930 front flares with 930 front flares reversed for the rear.

The ST front RS rear eventually looked a bit odd to me too. The only reason I went this route initially was I already had the "massaged" RS flares on the car and wanted to keep the cost down. When I decided to repaint the car recently I went with ST flares all around. Much better look IMO. The car is not finished yet, but here are two photos (not mine) for comparison. The track shot is from Buttonwillow's photographer in 2009 and the newer shot is from my LA body guy, Steve Hogue, last month.

Funny, with the front quarter shots, it looks good to my eye.
Maybe if I saw the car in the metal, looking down at it from my standing height it would look odd.
The thing that I think looks odd is rally cars with 9 inch flares and skinny little gravel or snow tires. If the tries fill the flares, most combos seem good to me.

I heard someone call ST rear flares 9 inch flares but that must be a mistake. Are they as wide as the RSR rear flares? (9 inch front and 11 inch rear) My thinking is that they must have meant that the front ST flares were 9 inch.
