    MFI fuel pump questions

I have a few mechanical fuel pumps (MFI) that were removed from running cars many many years ago.

The question i have is can someone point me to a thread on how to identify them, as I don't remember what cars they were removed from.

    Thank you,

MFI pumps or mechanical fuel pumps?

    Sorry.

The fuel injection that is not carbs or cis injection,

They are fuel pumps for mechanical fuel injection. They have six metal lines that go to them and a gear drive on the end.

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Injection pumps.
IIRC the # on the metal tag will identify them.

Excellent thanks. So I ran out to the garage and looked. One is for a 72/73 T , one is for a 70/71 E, but the third has no plate where the other 2 have the
identifier plate. Appears there never was a plate there. Also it seems to have two solenoids (silver little cans) on the end where the other 2 only have 1.
Does this mean anything to anyone?

2 solenoids is a 69, 1 year only pump for either the E or S if you can find some identifying marks

Thank you very much for the quick reply.

There are two other tags on it. Is there a chart for them somewhere?
