Thread: What Did You Do to Your 911 Today?

  1. #211
    Hey Russ!

Your Notchback inspired me. I'm putting together a project along those lines with the 68S! I wish I could use the tecnomagnesio like yours.

Like you, I'm leaning towards going "all vintage" in my cars.

I bought a new steering wheel on the Mittelmotor website some months ago. A RSR/GT 360 mm «tulipé», which doesn't need a hub adapter to give some space for my big hands… I bought as well an old and true hockey puck horn button in perfect shape. Except the leather! I ordered a new one on ebay for 29$. I changed the leather today paying attention to have a perfect alinement and fixed the spring without any problem, just a little bit of patience. Now, I will change the wheel and sell my Prototypo. I look forward to see my Trudi with this new piece of Porsche art…

'69 E non sunroof coupe with race history. Appears to have been a dark metallic blue from the factory, but still digging for paint tag. Reassembling as streetable race car... or trackable street car. Not sure which.
