    The working hood shocks almost moved me to bid.

    I agree Tom, brutally honest ad that provides a prospective buyer enough info to bid with confidence. Hardly the norm for 95% (probably more) of the cars advertised these days. He may not get quite as much dough for it but at least he sleeps well at night.

    Pretty solid example of a '65 with many of the really difficult bits there.

    Of course, not everybody has the knowledge to be that forthright. A lot of the blabber you see on ebay descriptions is a combination of ignorance and wishful thinking.
