I agree Tom, brutally honest ad that provides a prospective buyer enough info to bid with confidence. Hardly the norm for 95% (probably more) of the cars advertised these days. He may not get quite as much dough for it but at least he sleeps well at night.
Pretty solid example of a '65 with many of the really difficult bits there.

Of course, not everybody has the knowledge to be that forthright. A lot of the blabber you see on ebay descriptions is a combination of ignorance and wishful thinking.

Who here is ever going to forget that ad? I've read thousands of eBay ads (mostly for Porsche's) and I've never seen anything close to that.
The guy is very clever, hence his hobbies and garage...
