    So I did.

I gave the car no quarter; four run sessions on Saturday and four run sessions on Sunday with multiple starts each day and a final race on Sunday. The car never missed a beat despite the awful screeching and grinding sounds every time I pressed the clutch.

Then, on Sunday night as I was loading the car onto the trailer...

Don't I know it, Ed. Those all aluminum pressure plates aren't growing on trees anymore.

But, hey, this clutch was free to me so we ran until it didn't go anymore. Now, we move on. I have no intention of putting a busted-out, thrashed pressure plate and clutch on the next motor ... a dedicated 3.3L race motor.

The wheels look great Brian! Won't be long now.
More of Harvey's work below. They're the first thing I check before rolling out of the barn.

Installed my new Auto-Foreign Service Rear bumper deco inserts. I'm installing Eric's inserts in repro aluminum so it took a little work. I didn't modify the AFS inserts so I'm sure they'll fit great if and when I restore my original aluminum decos. The repro aluminum is for the later style long taper tip that has a steel embed in the insert. The embed has a weld stud that holds the insert and aluminum base to the bumper. I straightened and trimmed the embeds and used them with the AFS inserts. The embed spreads the rubber a little when you snug up the stud, a spacer would probably take care of that. I started with the driver side and all went well. The passenger side took a little longer because it's hard to get a wrench on the nylok with the oil tank in the way
I couldn't be happier with the parts and service from AFS. I emailed Eric on Friday and the package was in Florida mid day Wednesday. When I saw the care that was taken in packing I knew
    the parts would not disappoint.
    Thanks again Eric!
