The front wheels on the race car look more like 5.5s than 6s.
Are all of your wheels 6s? Do all of them have the same finish?

Harvey; i recall from the beginning of this thread that the build sheet shows front wheels are in fact 5 1/2 front with 6 rear as having been originally fitted.
Tim: I know you did a lot of legwork on the research of this car over the past few years and I agree, what a great result!

The car actually had 'unfinished' 5.5" all round when collected from the factory as in the photo below, however, fairly early on (possibly even when he collected the car?) Peter obtained a pair of standard finish deep 6" (dated 6/68) that he ran on the rear in competition as in the photos posted.
