Oh man. Thank you for sharing. Do you have any more pics? A buddy of mine is building a Carrera RS replica out of his Sepia Brown T and a couple of us keep trying to talk him into keeping it sepia.

    Thank you Hugh

It's exactly what I was thinking!

But your picture shows a huge damage on the left rear. The body has been severely touched... What ever, it's a 2.7 RS with RSR transformation.

I am curious about the price?

Schewe's car took quite a hit. Back in the day I doubt they would ever fix that car as they had no real value or the interest as it has today.
I have the engine for my RS from chassis 581. No RS registry has any info on that car. Just wondering what ever happened to #581.

    concerning VIN 9113600294
Please have a look at the pictures I posted on page 120. Both VIN plate and chassis number are not correct.
These numbers have nothing to do with how it was done originally.
Furthermore the engine did not have an engine number and even no engine type number on the block.
The sales guy told me it was an 'normal' RS M471 converted into RSR.
Small detail which I noticed on the car was that it did not have the original welded fixation points in the front right inner fender for the oil cooling tubes. So probably not even an S body, but still... asking price 1.45Mio€...

If it helps I too have it marked as m471 in a factory list from mid 70s

Would think 0294 would be late 72 production date (based on my car's DOB)
