    1972 horn grilles

    I have noticed that my recently acquired USA 72T has what look like original fitment plastic chrome horn grilles

    The rubber buffer attached to them is very very old so I am sure they have been there for a very long time

    Is that even possible or correct???

    That's correct. The grills we're discussing are chromed plastic.

    My 1972 S also has chromed plastic horn grilles. Original to car as far as I know. 2nd owner.
