70 S coupe - Albert Blue
Restored body & paint, rebuilt engine.
I managed the restoration of this car for the owner, but he has found he is not using the car as much as he thought he would and is putting it up for sale. As bought, it had been color-changed from Albert Blue to silver. John Esposito changed it back. He commented that it was one of the cleanest bodies he'd seen, once the car was taken to bare metal. This is an untraumatized body. And you know his bodywork and paint quality- the car is spectacular. John also had the trim stripped and correctly re-anodized. It has the 118 through the grille lights.
A retorqued rod bolt failed during my client's ownership and the engine was taken to Tyson Schmidt at PRO Motorsports for a complete rebuild. The engine has only a few hundred miles on it since completion.
CoA shows engine matches, although trans number was not recorded. The options include factory power windows. The car has replica sport seats as the originals had disappeared before the car got to the PO. Dash is new. Fuchs have been restored with proper anodozing & paint. Steel 'S; bumper from 72/73 has been added for improved stability at high speed. Hence this is not a concours car, but it can be made competitive, if you so choose, as the heavy lifting is done.
I have many, many photos available. Car is in the Pasadena area. $237K

Factory Metallic Blue paint
1 repaint from new, original paint still visible!
Story on this car:
On my way to Houston TX, I spotted this car about 300 yards off the freeway, after 1 year of communication, I was finally able to purchase this car.
I pulled this exiting find out of a cow pasture a few months ago, with debates on restoring, I have decided to sell it instead, and let someone else embark on the restoration of this rare car.
This is a Genuine, numbers matching "S" Coupe- COA included
It has been a 1 Owner car up until 8 years ago, when the original owner sold it to his good friend.
Which is who I acquired it from.
The car has been stored outside for most of its life so there is some rust present mostly in the floors. The body and jack points are in good shape.
All the glass is original and the car is very straight with no accidents
The passenger side door has a dent from a cow wedging itself in between the car it was stored next to.
Overall, this is a very worthy restoration project for someone with the time.
