    Seller's Description:

    Porsche 911E all matching engine numbers with a FULL ground up restoration. Porsche 911E Coupe in its factory original colour Tangerine Orange colour code 2310, this is a very rare all matching numbers car, engine & gear box, the car has done around 5 00 miles since the rebuild. Original production date: May 1970

    Just undergone a full restoration with full re-paint, all glass was taken ou t and all panels removed. Completely re-fitted with all new seal and trim, the bodywork is completely rust free and paint is perfect, all the chrome décor is in excellent condition. 1970 Porsche 911E Coupe, one owner for over 40 years. Factory Tangerine with black corduroy inserts colour combination. Excellent straight body, numbers-matching engine, beautiful inside and out. Stored for over 25 years, low original miles.

    The engine has been rebuilt, powerful in all the gears, gearbox is nice and smooth. The car is fitted with original Fuchs wheels, all the lights & gauges works as they should, the interior is in perfect condition including a new dash top.

    The 2.2L 911E was called "The secret weapon from Zuffenhausen" Despite the lower power output of the 911E compared to the 911S, the 911E was quicker in acceleration up to 160 km/h (99 mph)

    In 1970 the engines of all 911s were increased to 2,195 cc (2.195 L; 133.9 cu in). Power outputs were uprated to 125 PS (92 kW; 123 hp) in the 911T, 155 PS (114 kW; 153 hp) in the 911E, and 180 PS (130 kW; 180 hp) in the 911S. The 912 was discontinued, thanks to the introduction of the Porsche 911T as an entry model.
