    FS: @eBay - 69S Coupe - Golden Green - 119300621

    No affiliation.

    They are still out there!

6828 - L = Golden Green, a rare special order color, buried underneath all those paint jobs

Made it through the 80s with some bruises. Looks to have MFI.

Bidding is up after short time on eBay to $25k. Someone will save this one for sure!

    Ad text:

Every car has a story and this one is no different.

One of only 1492 1969 911S's made, this car is a great consederation for collectors. Because it was the first of the long wheelbase it was a sought after car for racing in the early years. Many were destroyed or highly modified.

This car has been in my family for 35 years. It's located in Southern California where it's spent it's entire life. I purchased it in 1978. I was the 3rd owner. The two blue pictures are from 1978. A couple years later I sold the car to my father in law.

In the early 80s the RSR look was in and he had the fiberglass fenders put on.

It was a weekend driver for 10 years. A broken fuel pump and a very busy work schedule caused the car to be stored for over 20 years. Last year he fixed the pump and fired it up. Still runs and drives fine.

His wife (my mother in law) passed away last year and he purchased a farm in Iowa. Time to be a farmer. Clearly this car doesn't belong in Iowa.

The engine has had a minor overhaul but all of the major components are original. The car has never been abused, raced or wrecked. There is no rust on the car.

The original engine deck lid comes with the car (replacing the whale tale)

We have a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche with production details and numbers.

    Best picture from the ad...

I know things are crazy but if this goes for $50k that'll be more than I can take. I was thinking $35k. That's a LOT of work and $$ to bring that car back.

edit: I'm probably wrong. There seems to be no sense when it comes to S prices any longer.

Wonder what the resto cost will be on that one. Interior doesn't look too too bad compared to the exterior. It's all relative.
