    906 Camera Car

    Here's a photo I took in the paddock during the 1967 1000Km at the Nurburgring. Go Pro has certainly made this technology obsolete. I wonder where this car is now?

    the peculiar lip on the roof could help to track it down.
    i doubt that ZDF owned this car otherwise they would not have put on the zdf sticker in such a shabby way.

    Lightened a bit so the camera is more visible. I imagine the lip is a cockpit vent, is the handle to adjust the camera angle? Cool picture of some period modifications.

    I also attended this race. While I don't have any closeups, I do have some shots from afar.











    1967 912 w/3.0 SC motor and tranny, RS door panels, stock body, power windows & brakes, and A/C.
