Geez, Chuck. I looked through a few pages of these pics and you're the only guy with two wheels over the centerline....![]()
That's 'cuz' Chuck had the racing line, the rest were just 'putzin' along![]()

It's funny, I've been drive'n that road forever.... They shoot down on you exiting a tight up hill left hander. Since they 'set up shop' years ago the turn gets a bit 'busy' with flashes, looky-loos, etc.... And, sometimes as you straiten out after the turn there might be a 'friendly' sheriff kibitzing or just 'waiting' at the 'grandstands' (second picture) just a few hundred yards ahead. Well last Sat. there was no one but the camera guy, and I caught a quick look at the clear road ahead.... so I did squeeze on it a bit more than usual.......That's 'cuz' Chuck had the racing line, the rest were just 'putzin' along... and it felt good...

Today I took 302396 for a spirited drive thought the back country - but ended up at the beach.
They say snow may be coming our way, so this may be it for a while.

You can see well ahead once you are halfway through that turn. I used to do the racing line about 5 years ago but stopped after getting flack from the photogs. That was the only turn I would do it in, because you can see (and I would only do it when it was clear). The way I look at it now is that I am looking for tight, twisty roads so why straighten them by crossing the double yellow? Less chance for a ticket this way, too.
(There is also less grip on the paint).
