What Did You Do to Your 911 Today?

Getting the boy in the back seat has been an evolving process. I started off with a full infant style car seat held in by a retractable PE Parts shoulder belt. That setup didn't hold the seat well enough, so I swapped out for a tether anchor and a non-retractable lap belt. The key to getting the seat to sit far enough into the seat well was to remove the folding setback from the car.
When he outgrew the full car seat, I put in a Cosco booster and reinstalled the folding seat back. I'm using the PE Parts lap belt with a vintageseatbelts.com Repa harness anchored to the old rear eye bolt. This setup holds him in securely and is easy to remove when not in use. The "Repa" is fairly adjustable and fits well. I also added a chest strap to keep the shoulder belts together in the event of an incident.

The only downside has been that I had to pop a hole in my pristine firewall and deck upholstery. Small price to pay for how much he enjoys riding with me.

Wonderful pics. What's your car seat arrangement? I want to get my oldest (3 yo) out in the 911 but haven't cracked the seating arrangement.
