    There is a big collector I know of who has a real RS and bought a clone to drive. I have also heard of owners of (real) Speedsters buying fiberglass replicas in order to preserve their originals and keep them safe. Our world has gone mad.

    Really? They aren't that valuable. It may differ if they are so original. But a replica speedster? That's not even the same driving experience. I would be too embarrassed. Not to mention it would give me no personal satisfaction.
