Rick
that is what I thought as well when i saw it.....and then saw it was supposed to be 9113600516
i blew the photo up, played around with it....and it still looks like a 3
however if you use some imagination with a blown up version of the photo you can almost see a 6 with most of the LHS and bottom of the 6 looking quite faint
probably not the best photo to sell the car to a discerning audience

Except for this...
"Believed to have 8,078 original KM..."
Why isn't this a certainty? Meaning, what happened to the paperwork
I believe (by a process of elimination of all the India red cars matched to their original options) that this is 9113601108, a car that has appeared on this board a number of times since July 2007.
According to various posts on this board the first appearance i have found was in July 2007 when it was white and blue and for sale for $189,900 at eurosport in Lincoln California. By October 2007 it was in San Francisco for sale at $200,000 at that stage the odometer read 5441.
By June 2010 it was for sale at $197,500, still in San Francisco
in March 2013 it was redone in India red like it is now and went to auction at RM. At that stage it was reading 7498 kms.
it sold for $506K at auction in April 2013 at RM to someone who I believe is still active on this board
It is a great reflection of how these cars have changed in pricing over the past decade. In a non original color it languished for months in 2007 at a price that seems unbelievably cheap now
It will be interesting how fast it goes now and for what price. The presentation and look at present are completely different to how it was presented in 2007, but interestingly in none of the times it has been for sale (that i have seen) have photos of the numbers etc ever been shown.
It looks like a great car that has been restored by very good people so I wonder about the apparent sales strategy of keeping the identity secret when it can be fairly easily deduced.

Thanks for posting the 516 pictures, RS27rules. I know the car is for sale local, so pretty easy to see it. What I have heard it is an extremely original LW.
