    I found another detail different between my 700 and 1379. The mechanism of the windowwipers show different lever arms. The 1379 has levers with a space to allow them to wrap closer around the axle. Have not tested this on the cars to see whether this results in a wider range for the wipers. Pics 1, 2 and 4 are 1379, 3rd one is 700.

    Interesting thread over in the technical section on oil fillers - perhaps they are not all created equal?

    I have the original tank but not the filler on my car so cannot comment.

    just realized that 64 and 65(at least up to Chassis 1274 delivered 1/6/1965) have a different rear wheel housing(not only the longitudinals) due to the different routing of the heater tube....

    i also realized that i have a NOS one
    pic show the difference

    would be interesting to know when this change happened...

    so fakers don`t forget about this detail
