    THE VITALS

This is an incredible 1970 PORSCHE 914-6 RESTOMOD. It is a factory original 914-6 that has been heavily modified to be a much more fun and functional machine. The odometer functions and currently shows 9145. The mileage shown is the approx mileage since the rebuild of this vehicle. The VIN shows build as 06/1970 with serial number as 9140432415. This vehicle has a 3.2L 1988 Carrera motor with a 915 Transmission. It has a Wevo GateShift Kit. The vehicle has new gas lines, 471 Porsche steel flares, custom front spoiler, Boxster calipers, carrera rotors, stainless brake lines, brake pads, Bilstein RSR raised struts & rear shocks, 930 Turbo tie-rods, Earls oil cooler front installation plus refurbished 914 rear oil cooler, custom fabricated oil shroud, new heater & air flow controls plus all plumbing, B&B stainless headers with heater boxes, DynaMat sound deadening, Fuchs wheels 16x8 front (944 turbo) and 16x9 rear (930 turbo), the wheels have RSR finish by Weidmans, 245x45x16 tires, Chassis reinforcement kit, fog lights with new bulbs and new grills, new GT rear grill, new rubber moldings, ratchet style seat belts by Pep, steering wheel by Momo with Porsche horn button, Konig seats with new inserts, new dashboard pad by Stoddard, custom temp/pressure/fuel cluster gauges by Palo Alto, newly recovered sunvisors, new cig lighter assembly, small antenna for radio attached to inside front window, Kenwood radio with cd and new speakers, fire extinguisher by Custom Components, black coco mats, clear stone guard over front end and quarters, and a full paintjob by Burbank Coachworks (Jim Tirres & Lewis Hauser of Karosserie Limited). The interior is a 9.8 on a scale of 1-10. The dash has ZERO cracks. The leather has zero tears. The carpets look and feel like new. All gauges work. All mechanicals function properly. No oil leaks. Brakes work perfectly. All front and rear trunk areas are in as new condition. Engine runs perfect and transmission shifts perfectly. It starts up on first shot. It needs NOTHING. I have a valid title for this vehicle. This vehicle is located in my climate controlled warehouse in South Florida. I am an avid Porsche collector and I am only selling this one to make room for a new addition.

IMPORTANT - TERMS OF SALE !!!

We reserve the right to end this auction early. The vehicle is advertised not just on ebay. People do live local to us and come to see the vehicle and make offers. People call us on the phone and make us offers. Please understand that while this is a no reserve auction and the high bidder at the end will be the winner, most auctions do not make it to the end as we usually get made an acceptable offer prior to that happening… so please call us if you don’t want to take that chance. IMPORTANT - TERMS OF SALE !!!

Buyer pays shipping. We can help with some phone numbers for shippers, but will not hire them for you. If Paypal is used for deposit... it will only be considered a holding deposit but not as actual funds. The entire balance must be paid by bank wire or bank cashiers check and the paypal deposit will be refunded. Paypal is just a convenience feature and not considered an actual source of real money to us. If you do not agree with this... do not use them or do not bid. Vehicle will be released to shipper or to you ONLY after funds have cleared or have been verified. Deposit is non-refundable.

So what is your point? You posted 2 cars that sold on Ebay recently and both were missing their original engines and have been heavily modified.

    Two...

    1) to revive the thread from Aug/2015.
    2) Post 'good usable reference data' somewhat indicative of the condition and modifications (if any) done to each vehicle.

If I may say so, I thought it was a good 're-start'...
