Here's a Pic of my 911 SRD
These photos were taken at the Steve McQueen car show 06-01-13.
My daughter Isabella and I had a great time catching up with old friends.:D
We frequent the Early S Registry events and often attend Irvine Cars & Coffee.
I've owned this car since 2004 and truly enjoy it more than the others of the past.:)
In the last photo, my daughter is star-struck, like my wife, for Robert Wagner as he walked by.
Regards,
Paul & Judy

New Custodian of 1973.5 911 T
As a way of introduction I am the new proud owner of this 1973.5 CIS 911 T. I was very fortunate to have stumbled upon this car. Everything is tight and works, as it should.
The car has just received a sympathetic restoration By California Porsche Restoration in Fallbrook, CA. I wanted to keep the originality of the car, but have the trunk and engine bay restored, while the top engine and 5 speed transmission were being rebuilt. The 5 speed 915 transmission is easy to use. It has 5 date matching restored Fuchs. The factory front and rear stabilizer bars really hold the car on the road. It has its H4 Euro headlights.
All the body panel gaps were adjusted, new shocks installed, new brakes and new Michelin tires mounted. The interior was completely redone in beautiful black German course leather by Autobahn Interiors.
The certificate of authenticity, confirms the original engine and color. (COA lacked transmission number)
The car is completely accident and rust free, not a single spot of rust needed to be repaired. All of the body panels are original. The bright work shows some patina but it appears as an honest 1973.5, not overly restored.
The car came with factory air conditioning. What we did was remove that heavy piston compressor and the small ineffective front mounted condenser along with the crash brace. We installed a CPR vintage A/C conversion. This conversion consists of a bigger (6x) more efficient condenser on the rear deck lit. The squirrel fan, thermostat control and receiver dryer are all now in the smugglers box. It runs on R 134 refrigerant. It's a beautiful installation. We left the original factory air vents (plenum or registers). It looks original but now has a highly efficient A/C system.
The light Ivory paint had been done a few years ago by the previous owner and shows beautifully.
The car came with the original owner's manual, as well as an original tool kit, antenna key and key pouch.
